Harmony Raines writes stories with great characters, beloved characters, family based on friendship and love in addition to family with blood ties. Both the men and women are strong with flaws (in their minds). This is a stand alone book, HEA, and a page turner (a stalker? A threatening presence?). What I love about Beck and the other books in this series (and her books overall) is that the shifters are protective, embracing and warm. Love these books (already have the other 3 books of the series).

This was a nice story. It had action and suspense and a lot of love. The characters were well developed and full of personality. The romance between Beck and Kassia was sweet and sexy. The brother's relationship was very relatable. I like Harmony Raines writing and I will continue to buy her books. However the stories are starting to feel like her other books. Not very original and there are a good number of typos that make me mad. I am glad this was only 99 cents.

Kassia is just trying to give the sheriff some brownies for doing her a favor when this really good looking guy just keeps staring at her funny. This person named Martha that she just met talks her into giving the guy a chance to get to know her so she invites him to dinner. And of course that’s the start of their relationship. But trouble from their past comes to make it rocky. So enjoy another good read and see what trouble come and from who’s past !!

Kassia arrives in Bear Creek to visit her aunt Bessie, who owns the local diner/ coffee shop, now stuck at home with a badly injured ankle and needing help. Kassia had had a bad experience with her now former fiance.
